The Coherent Change Over Repair Service will replace the existing Uniphase laser in the Luminex 100 instrument with a Coherent laser.  In addition to replacing the laser, several other components must be replaced in order to accommodate the requirements of the new laser.

Once the Coherent laser is installed, performance of the LX100 will be verified to include:

• Check unit over and verify that it passes all Field Service functions and specifications
• Optimize alignment of lasers (if necessary)

Luminex 100: Due to the sensitivity of the unit, please return unit in original box and crate.  If the unit is not returned in original crate and box, an additional charge for the crate and/or box will automatically be added to the bill.  Note: Please decontaminate the unit per the instructions in the users’ manual, and include a copy of the completed documentation with the instrument.  If the completed documentation is not included with the instrument, it will be considered “Contaminated” and an additional fee will automatically be added to the bill.  “Decontamination”, done either by the customer or the LCRF, is required prior to the unit being evaluated.
