Description | The LiquiChip Reader, Microplate handler, and Fluid Module make up the LiquiChip workstation.
State-of-the-art optics and fluidics lie at the heart of the LiquiChip Reader. Assay samples are aspirated, one after another, into the reader. LiquiChip beads are carried in a stream of LiquiChip System Fluid through the measurement cuvette where they are individually irradiated by the red classification and green reporter lasers. Fluorescence signals from the bead color-coding dyes and the reporter molecules attached to LiquiChip detection reagents are recorded simultaneously and digitally processed to translate the signals into quantitative data for each reaction.
