Tag-It� Mutation Detection Kit (General)

Description	Multiplexed genotyping on Luminex Molecular Diagnostics Tag-It� platform allows up to 50 SNPs to be rapidly determined in one tube at a low cost. The Tag-It� Mutation Detection Kit for Factor V Leiden, Factor II (or prothrombin), MTHFR 677, and MTHFR 1298 has been formatted to accurately genotype a user defined combination of the four mutations simultaneously. This convenient multiplex approach detects the four most common mutations that have been associated with thrombotic disorders. The Tag-It� Mutation Detection Kit provides an economical solution for laboratories requiring low-density multiplexing and high sample throughput. Assays for the detection of mutations in the CFTR gene (cystic fibrosis) and CYP450 genes (drug metabolism) on the Tag-It� platform are also in development.
