| Description | Y-SNP Identification - Marligen's Signet Y-SNP Genotyping System is designed to genotype male-specific markers on the Y-chromosome for identity testing, population genetics and ancestry studies. Kits are available in an open-architecture format to enable flexibility in the choice of probe panels optimized either for general screening, or for more detailed analysis of specific populations with different ethnic ancestries. Seventy-five markers are now available in 10 multiplexed panels, and the menu of new markers continues to expand.
