FLEXMAP 3D® Features and Benefits

The FLEXMAP 3D system takes pioneering xMAP® Technology to the next dimension. The FLEXMAP 3D system combines differentially dyed fluorescent microsphere sets with an innovative instrument design to allow multiplexing of up to 500 unique assays within a single sample, both rapidly and precisely. Features such as automated probe height adjustment, simplified routine maintenance operations and an intuitive software interface make FLEXMAP 3D a flexible and easy to use multiplexing platform capable of performing a variety of protein and nucleic acid applications.

	Higher Multiplexing = Higher Throughput Multiplex up to 500 analytes per well. Each microsphere is impregnated with different amounts of three internal dyes. Monitoring the relative intensity of the three signals allows the system to discriminate up to 500 different microsphere sets.
	Enhanced Pipetting = Fast Turnaround Time The FLEXMAP 3D system has the capability to run 48,000 data points in less than one hour. Dual sample fluidics paths and increased syringe injection speed facilitates a faster sample injection rate.
	96 and 384 Well Compatibility The FLEXMAP 3D accommodates 96 and 384-well formats for enhanced sample volume flexibility and increased throughput. Sample plate heating control also allows the user to run thermally sensitive applications such as nucleic acids.
	Automation/LIS Compatibility The xPONENT® 4.0 Software controls the FLEXMAP 3D system and offers interfacing options for Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) as well as automation. An optional swivel base for the system further simplifies integration with third-party liquid handlers.
	Simplified Maintenance The FLEXMAP 3D system has multiple features allowing walk away start-up, shutdown and maintenance operations, and greatly enhances usability for High Throughput Screening (HTS) applications.

The FLEXMAP 3D system is a class 1(I) laser product.
