Order Management Associate II

Duties/Responsibilities of Position:
-
Review purchase orders for completeness, e.g., correct bill to and ship to addresses, contact information, payment terms, pricing, etc.

Enter the orders into the ordering software within a specified time.

Confirm with the customer that the order has been received and entered into our system.

Create new ship to and bill to addresses within the software.
-
Proactively follow-up and respond to customers about incomplete orders, backordered items, and scheduled ship dates.

Determine scheduled ship dates for instrument orders based on communicated customer requirements and manufacturing capacity.

Run reports needed for quality purposes and to track performance, e.g., meeting scheduled ship dates, etc.

Investigate non-standard orders to expedite the order entry process. This may include working closely with the Customer, Accounting and Sales.

Use a reporting tool on a daily basis to obtain information pertinent to duties.
Experience/Education Required/Desired:
-
Associates degree or 3 years equivalent experience.

Working knowledge of the software applications used for Order entry and complaint tracking.

Working knowledge of the order/shipping process.
-
Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Superior telephone etiquette and an ability to deal effectively with customers, peers and management.
