Company Description
R&D Systems’ Biotechnology Division has been supplying the research community with reagents for cell biology since 1985. The company specializes in active proteins and antibodies, as well as associated value added products, including immunoassays and tools for multianalyte profiling. R&D Systems offers products suited for a wide range of scientific interests including immunology, neuroscience, development, and stem cells. The company is based in Minneapolis, MN, with additional offices and facilities in the United Kingdom (R&D Systems, Europe) and the People’s Republic of China (R&D Systems, China).

Products and Services
R&D Systems offers an xMAP® Technology based system, marketed as Fluorokine® Multianalyte Profiling (Fluorokine MAP). Fluorokine MAP assays are configured as a base kit and a panel of analyte kits, designed for use with the Luminex® 100/200™ system. Each analyte pack contains antibody-coated microparticles and biotinylated detection antibodies. The base kit contains all other necessary reagents to perform the assay, allowing for maximum flexibility in creating panel composition from among the multiplex validated analytes.
