Inverness Medical Professional Diagnostics (under the Alere Inc. brand) offers a broad line of rapid membrane point-of-care tests and batch-friendly automation solutions for laboratories of all sizes. Our AtheNA Multi-Lyte® Test System, utilizing patented multiplex microparticle technology, allows the simultaneous detection of multiple analytes from a single sample all in one well. AtheNA provides improved clinical sensitivity and comparable clinical specificity in a labor-saving automation-friendly format. Menu items include Autoimmune Panel, ANCA, TPO/TG and RF with EBV, TORCH and Immunity Panels under development. Inverness also offers over 60 ELISA kits for infectious and enteric disease, autoimmune, cardiac risk and bladder cancer, most of which have been completely updated, featuring flexible automation-friendly incubations and universal protocols. Clearview, our point of care testing line uses innovative, patented technology to provide highly sensitive and specific tests for Women’s Health, Infectious Disease and Drugs of Abuse including our new additions, D-dimer, Influenza A/B, NTx, Strep A and RSV.
