Company Decription
InGen Biosciences, created in 2001, is an in vitro Diagnostic company, integrating R&D and distribution and employing 70 people. SGAM is entering the cpital InGen Biosciences in 2003 and invested again in 2005 accompanied by Innoven Partners in the second fundraiser. The R&D is focused on development of serological tests for diagnosis of bacterial infections, with a large know-how in identification and production of recombinant antigens. The first product, a serological test to detect bone and joint infections, will be launched in 2010. The distribution company, InGen, established in 1993, is a recognized company, proposing a large selection of high-performing reagents combined with platforms for analysis in the fields of infectious diseases (bacteriology, virology, parasitology) and immunology (HLA, autoimmunity, complement). InGen already distributes Luminex based technology in the field of HLA (One Lambda) and auto-immune disease (Zeus Scientific).

Products and Services
The first product of InGen Biosciences is an innovative serological test, using several pathogenic-specific recombinant antigens (Staphylococcus aureus and epidermidis) developed by our research laboratories, for diagnosis of bones and joint infections (after hip, knee, or shoulder prosthesis). This test is developed on Luminex xMAP Technology.
