Gen-Probe, a global leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of nucleic acid assays for infectious diseases and blood screening, is now uniquely positioned to provide superior transplant diagnostic products and services. Through the LIFECODES product line, Gen-Probe offers a range of complementary antibody and DNA-typing products using xMAP® Technology on the Luminex® platform.

Products and Services
The LIFECODES product line is composed of antibody and DNA typing kits. The LIFECODES Antibody Detection System screens and identifies HLA and MICA antibodies in human sera with flow cytometric sensitivity. The LIFECODES DNA Typing system utilizes SSO methodology in its HLA, KIR and cytokine SNP assays.
