Luminex has developed and manufactured an extensive solution family designed to take full advantage of our proprietary xMAP® technology. We offer system solutions as well as the consumables required to perform assays using xMAP technology. Our system solutions line is built around our advanced multi-format multiplexing compact analyzer, the Luminex 100 System — and now, the NEW Luminex 200 System, which can perform up to 100 bioassays simultaneously, using a single drop of fluid. The Luminex 200 System has several feature enhancements over the Luminex 100 System, and supports existing xMAP-based kits. The Luminex 100 IS, also available as the Luminex 200 IS, adds flexible data-analysis and assay-design software to the system. Next is the Luminex XY Platform (or Luminex XYP™), which delivers additional automation capabilities. The Luminex Sheath Delivery System (Luminex SD) allows the user to run low or high-throughput assays continuously, while the system is unattended. We also manufacture a medium density high-throughput screener, the Luminex HTS.
To answer our partners’ needs for consumables, Luminex manufactures color-coded xMAP microspheres in up to 100 distinctly colored sets, each dyed according to our proprietary process. We’ve also developed FlexMAP™ microspheres, which optimize our microsphere sets for isothermal multiplexing of genotyping assays.

The Luminex instruments are exceptionally suited to satisfy the growing demand for rapid, cost-effective testing. Reagents - For use with Luminex instrumentation only. Luminex creates addressable microsphere sets so you can assay up to 100 distinct analytes in a single tube or well, calibrate to assure consistent performance, and optimize individual reactions. Maintenance Parts - Luminex offers maintenance parts for use with the Luminex 100 and our other instruments. Training - Training is available for all Luminex instruments.
